1 March | Fringe 2024 | UNDEREXPOSED Film Festival with Movie Juice

  • Corner Gilles Arcade and Playhouse Land Adelaide, SA 5000 Australia (map)

On Friday the 1st of March, moviejuice and UNDEREXPOSED are proud to be administering a hit of pure South Australian experimental cinema goodness. Join the crew for a night of cinema soup (an advanced form of juice), where a program spanning half a century will reveal hitherto untasted local film flavours.

Featuring works by Margaret Haselgrove, Susan Bruce, Greg Eiffe, Jordy Pollock + many more!

PLUS live music afterwards from the unmissable FLOWERBED (@flowerbed.adl) and a very special reunion set from BART'S NIGHTMARE (@bartsnightmareband).

Counterfeit Collective presents UNDEREXPOSED for its 4th year at Fringe.

What's your story? How would you tell it?

UNDEREXPOSED highlights emerging and experimental filmmakers, putting a diverse range of unique stories from voices and narratives often overlooked in mainstream cinema under the spotlight.

We are so excited to offer some new events and artistic collaborations this year.

We are teaming up with Moviejuice and bringing you a special event on March 1st where we bring local artists together through music and film at Adelaide's oldest theatre, The Queens.

Keep an eye out for our Window Film Festival which will be located at The Queens from February 16th and throughout the fringe (see our instagram for times and details).

We encourage discussion after each session about all the topics that arise in these short films. Let's debate over a drink and have a boogie to a local band.

Be there or be square.
