Combining shimmering violins with outbursts of feedback from an amp being pushed to its limits, Twine is a noise rock band who almost defy genre labels. Influenced by the experimentation of 90’s bands like Unwound, Slint and The Dirty three; while also incorporating an approach to honest song writing reminiscent of alt country staples like Jason Molina and David Berman, the band have already made an impact during their short period of existence.

Local indie 6-piece St Jacques have announced the release of Singing’s Free, their joyous first single of 2024, due out on March 29. Since 2018, St Jacques have grown and refined their lush and infectious spin on indie rock, characterised by sweeping strings and soaring group vocals.

Their single Another Sense saw rotation on ABC’s Rage in 2021, their first time on the national stage. 2024 looks to be a big year for the group, culminating in the release of their first EP later in the year.

St Jacques are delighted to be joined by friends Nuclear Family and Stephi for this show.

 Josh Pyke hits the road this November to showcase his album Revisions.

“I loved recording the studio versions of these songs with piano, cello and accordion. People have hugely embraced the Revisions album, so I’m really excited to perform it live for the first time in these beautiful venues.” For these intimate performances, Pyke will be joined on stage by Elana Stone and Freya Schack-Arnott, who both appeared on the recorded album. 

PRINNIE STEVENS is returning to The Queens Theatre with her show LADY SINGS THE BLUES - back to where it all began.

A colourful portrait workshop led by emerging artist, Jasmine Crisp. This workshop is suitable for those with minimal portraiture experience.

Slide Night is back in 2023!

Far from your grandma’s slide night, this crowd favourite event is a unique way to connect with contemporary South Australian artists beyond their artwork.  We hand each artist the microphone and the stage is their for strictly 5 minutes – what happens next is up to them! We might hear about their art, their interests, or something else entirely. No two Slide Nights are the same so be sure to book your seats at this sell-out event.

Five-piece indie rock group, comprising of an eclectic mix of soaring vocals, jangly guitars and a driving rhythm section. Lost Woods have shared the stage with the likes of Holy Holy, Kingswood, Alice Ivy, Harts, Andy Bull, Jesse Davidson, Maddy Jane, Bad Pony, Horror My Friend, Timberwolf and Hey Geronimo.

Sons of Zöku are an Adelaide-based hybrid tribe of Portuguese-born Ricardo Da Silva and Ica Quintela, and Australian-born Jordan Buck, Oscar Ellery, Eddie Hannemann, and Hannah Yates.
