Aisha Winter
Singer/songwriter Aisha Winter combines her deep love of folk, blues, and jazz to create intricate and captivating music straight from the soul. Drawing inspiration from the works of Linda Perhacs, John Martyn, and Nick Drake, Aisha creates a unique soundscape that is both timeless and contemporary. Her songs, drawn from original poetry, blend her thoughts into her melodies in a way that’s authentic and encouraging of individual interpretation, offering an intimate and heart-felt listening experience that is unique to each listener.
Grace Vandals
Unabashedly emotional, eclectic and full of the mortal notions of risk, love and loss – Grace Vandals delivers you into a rich and gritty world of sound, coated in an unexpected outer layer of tenderness. Her upcoming release invites you into a melting pot of Alternative rock and folky influences, full of prickly emotions, revelations, ugly truths and childlike curiosity. Vandals and her band share an open desire for unravelling perfection and embracing the unusual. Liberation to dive deep, explore sounds, make mistakes and enjoy the process is what drives her.
Chelsea Lee // ‘Dhotis Project’
Djawbreaker composer Chelsea Lee sets her sights on a new project, entitled ‘Dhotis’ with a stellar collaboration of Adelaide and Melbourne musicians. Combining Djawbreaker forces with local legends ‘yeahyeahabsolutelynoway!’, ‘Dhotis’ presents original material written in the style of UK outlet ‘Portishead’, that showcases guitar heavyweights James Brown and Sam Cagney in a dark sonic experiment.
